They need to stop with all the Tony/Ziva promotional crap that they're doing. *rolls eyes*

They're acting like the whole "Tiva" angle is all there is to NCIS, when in reality there's so much more to the show. You wouldn't know it by all the promotional stuff that they've been shoving down our throats. It's overkill to the max, and it's making me want to shove a firepoker in my eye. Even the actors don't want Tiva.

Can you save us all the overkill pain heartbreak pseudo-romantic-tension drama, and just give us back the show that we all know and love? plskthksbai.

I HEAR you! Oh god! Please, please, please! The show isn't about THEM! It's not about Tony and Ziva having some lame assed romance but all I'm hearing are "love triangle" this and Cote and Michael doing magazine covers and interviews to the hilt. It's driving me insane! AGH! I want to scream! What happened to dead petty officers and Gibbs slapping Tony's head? I want THAT NCIS back please!

I KNOW, right? It's driving me mad too! It's infuriating, depressing, and lametastic!

I demand the return of dead petty officers (it's always petty officers!) and Gibbs!smacks and just general awesomeness.

>_> Should I be fearing catching up on NCIS? I hope the finale isn't too bad...

Tiva, puh-leeze. As if it's not patently obvious that Dinozzo belongs with Gibbs!

Exactly how far behind are you anyway? *curious*

The second half of the 6th season has been blah. Characterizations are all over the place, plots have been sub-par, and the writing has been down. Some gems in between the bad ones, and early S6 was good. I'd catch up just for the sake of catching up.

From: [identity profile] spoonyriffic.livejournal.com

The writers can't see that though! It's depressing! *sulks*

It's quite alarming - it's so blantantly obvious, you know? Then again, I wouldn't expect anything less from these writers. :|

This one was actually one of the better ones for second half of the season.

From: [identity profile] citikitti.livejournal.com

And throughout the series, there's been so many, y'know, moments! I mean, there's Gibbs/Tony fic for a reason. Several reasons, I'm sure.

From: [identity profile] spoonyriffic.livejournal.com

I agree - I was expecting to totally hate the episode, and I didn't, which I'm happy about. :D

From: [identity profile] spoonyriffic.livejournal.com

Too many reasons to count!

The subtext is quickly becoming text... *shifty*

From: [identity profile] citikitti.livejournal.com

Hey, seeing as you know, well, everything, what epi is it that Gibbs pats Tony's head & says "good boy"? Don't know if it's relevant yet to the fic I'm doing or not, but it might be, but then again it might not, so... Well. Decisive, aren't I?

If it weren't for fanfic, fans would never get what they want!

From: [identity profile] spoonyriffic.livejournal.com

Ohhhh, the "atta boy" pat! *bg* That was in Iced, the ep where they found those bodies in a frozen lake... two boys found them, if I remember correctly.

From: [identity profile] citikitti.livejournal.com

Right, right, right. I remember now. I'm so terrible at remembering epi names with what actually happened. *eyeroll* Seriously, I've been known to forget my own name & age. And once I sort of forgot where I lived & had to check my ID to find out. Mind you, I was falling-down drunk at the time, which may have been the problem. Or not. :D

From: [identity profile] spoonyriffic.livejournal.com

I've had multiple memory lapses like that! I've forgotten my own cell number before, but that's because I usually can't be bothered to remember it. *SNORT* Seriously, I've only just memorized it about a year ago, and I got the damn phone Christmas of '06. Heh.

I once forgot Robert DeNiro's name.

From: [identity profile] citikitti.livejournal.com

Well, how often do you call your *own* cell? Practically never, right? So, there you go.

I once forgot my cousin Tom's name while in the middle of intro'ing him to a friend of mine. IT'S 3 LETTERS!

Bet they're right there with ones saying you're sane, too. :-)

From: [identity profile] spoonyriffic.livejournal.com

Indeed - but I've got the fortune of people asking me what my cell is all the time. Friends, coworkers, potential crap dates... I actually programmed it into my phonebook.

*SNORT* Oh god! Poor you!

I mix up names a lot too - I constantly switch the names of my two best friends, and they get mad at me all the time because of it.

I'm going to have to rewatch it when it hits the CBS site. Might go ahead and rewatch the two spin-off eps, since they lead into this one. There seems to be an actual case here.
