*epic facepalm*

They need to stop with all the Tony/Ziva promotional crap that they're doing. *rolls eyes*

They're acting like the whole "Tiva" angle is all there is to NCIS, when in reality there's so much more to the show. You wouldn't know it by all the promotional stuff that they've been shoving down our throats. It's overkill to the max, and it's making me want to shove a firepoker in my eye. Even the actors don't want Tiva.

Can you save us all the overkill pain heartbreak pseudo-romantic-tension drama, and just give us back the show that we all know and love? plskthksbai.

Exactly how far behind are you anyway? *curious*

The second half of the 6th season has been blah. Characterizations are all over the place, plots have been sub-par, and the writing has been down. Some gems in between the bad ones, and early S6 was good. I'd catch up just for the sake of catching up.

This one was actually one of the better ones for second half of the season.

I agree - I was expecting to totally hate the episode, and I didn't, which I'm happy about. :D

I'm going to have to rewatch it when it hits the CBS site. Might go ahead and rewatch the two spin-off eps, since they lead into this one. There seems to be an actual case here.

*laughs* Truthfully? I only got into NCIS a couple months ago. I've been trying to play catch up with the previous five seasons. So I've only seen a few of 6th season. I was planning on catching up now that school is almost out. XD Glad to hear there are some gems.

The finale just aired, didn't it? A friend of mine was watching it, but I didn't want to watch it before I've seen the earlier episodes. Have more of an impact, hmm?

Ohhhhh, okay! You can play catch-up on the CBS site, if you didn't already know. Summer's a great time to do that.

The finale airs next week - tonight's ep leads into the finale though. The ep made me feel part mad/frustrated/annoyed/indescribable. Heh.

Yepyep, I started watching Agent Afloat there the other day, but I got called away before I could finish. >_> I'm hoping they'll still have most of the episodes there by the time I get over there again. *laughs* And yeah, summertime you can chill and watch episodes all day. *grins*

Oooh, okay. Kind of a two parter? Is that mad/frusterated/annoyed at, like, Tiva? Or just wanting to know what happened?

[identity profile] spoonyriffic.livejournal.com 2009-05-13 02:26 am (UTC)(link)
Kind of sorta, though there was no "to be continued" card at the end. The mad/frustrated/annoyed bit is wanting to know what happens, and at the preview for the next ep. There wasn't any blatant Tony/Ziva anvils though - mostly, it was just Tony acting really suspicious of Ziva and Rivkin, and him worrying about her.

But close enough to a two parter? Hah.

And oh noes, tantalizing previews, huh? Those are always... fun... XD

So in other words stuff that could be interpreted by slashers as friends worrying about each other? ^_~
